Queen Court, Ospringe

Queen Court Manor is the most important surviving single building in Ospringe, older in its foundation than the church or the Maison Dieu and listed in the AD1080 Domesday Book. FSARG felt privileged to at last get permission to explore this important site archaeologically. The following lengthy reports on research on and excavations at Queen Court in 2021 and 2022 details the first step in understanding this fascinating ancient manor.
